Description
Frankton railway station looking northwest towards the old locomotive sheds. The railway tracks run from a'turntable' to the sheds. The turner was next to Queens Avenue. Tender locomotives had to be turned for safety. Tank locomotives were only turned if they needed their tyre wear evened. In the distance are the Frankton industrial and business zones.
