Description
The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary also known as "The Church of the Holy Rosary", and "St Mary's of the Rosary". It was located at the end of Bridge Street (Now Anzac Parade) on Grey Street in Hamilton East. This is the main entrance showing five windows, columns, arched door and cross on top of the roof. In front of the entrance is the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue. It was demolished in 1974 and replaced by St. Mary's Church which became the "Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary" in 1980.
