Object Detail
Description
A view from Caro Street of the Wintec wall in Anglesea Street. There are cars parked on the road above the hill behind the railings. Two cars are parked on meters on Caro Street near the junction. At the right is a small car park belonging to the Hamilton City Council offices. Anglesea street (originally called Anglesey Street) was cut through Garden Place Hill in 1930 and completed 1931. This wall is a good reminder of the height of the hill.
