Description
The building with three chimneys was on the corner of Chilcott Road and Rifle Range Road. Chilcott Road once ran parallel to the railway line on its west side, between Ellicott Road and the present day Chilcott Road. If you turned right at the 'Give Way' sign you would cross the railway line and then be on Norton Road. The residential property on the opposite corner of Chilcott Road and Rifle Range Road has a billboard hoarding for the New Zealand Labour Party candidate for Hamilton West, Dorothy Jelicich.
