Description
Participants in the procession include the local M.U.I.O.O.F. (Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows) and a brass band. They are proceeding south along Victoria Street past the "Westcourt" private hotel; Almadale Private Hotel; the former Hamilton Borough Council office building, at this time shared by the Queensland Insurance Co. Ltd. and estate agent, Frank Currie; and the Hamilton Free Public Library.
