Description
The Subway Buildings face Claudelands Road but are accessible from River Road. The street address is 181 River Road. The building has housed various shops over the years - originally groceries - here it housed a large opportunity shop and a Party/DJ music equipment hire premises.(Music City Disco). It was called Subway Buildings because the nearby railway used to cross on a bridge, the road had been lowered to allow vehicles to pass underneath.
