Description
This area is the former railway station in Ward Street opposite the William Paul Hall near the junction of Alexandra Street. Parking conditions were much more relaxed then. The Government Life Building can be seen in construction on the left and the centre building is where Starbucks is today with shops and offices. Alexandra Building can just be seen behind the tree and the top of the Bank of New Zealand above that in Victoria Street.
