Description
Central Victoria Street looking south. Western side not far from Claudeland's Traffic Bridge. As well as Ascot Shoes and Maurice Powell Fabrics & Linens, the P & M Plaza can be seen. The main occupant of this plaza was Pollock & Milne. Other shops included a sweet shop, Russell Bai Ltd pharmacy, Diana's coffee lounge, Gilmore's books and toys, Plaza Jewellers Ltd, Betty White Millinery and others. Pollock & Milne were well known for their bridal gowns and evening wear.
