Description

The large biplane is a Vickers Vildebeest Mk. III of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and the aircraft on the right is a Desouter ZK-ACJ. The first Vildebeests arrived in New Zealand in April 1935.

The large biplane is a Vickers Vildebeest Mk. III of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and the aircraft on the right is a Desouter ZK-ACJ. The photo cannot be from 1933 because the first Vildebeests did not arrive in New Zealand till April 1935. So this scene is from after that date.
