Description
Building owned by Thomas Wills Maunder just completed and tenanted by Gaze & Co, Photographer, and Hamilton Cafe operated by F. Tonge - 'Meals at all hours'. Tonge has paper signs on his window advising 'Oysters'. There is an alley on the left of the building with signs above for: J Pomeroy - Horse Shoer, Coachbuilder, General Blacksmith, Repairs and Painting a Speciality: Jolly & Clements, Carriers & Coal Merchants; Billiard Room Down the Right of Way. On the brick wall in the alley is a large sign: Jolly & Clements. A smaller sign leant against the wall advertises: Pianos, Organs, Music, Violins, Gramaphones Etc.
The building to the left has a music retailer - J. Lawrence (04/1906 - 02/1907). To the right of the building are: Law Offices; Barton & Ross Furnishing Warehouse.
An unoccupied single horse buggy stands in front of the new building.
