This is more likely to be Oio, the station before Raurimu. It was probably taken during a fortnight's holiday in Taumarunui in 1906 (see ), during which there was a train trip to Oio, followed by a road trip beyond (see https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/WT19060108.2.7). The rails didn't reach Raurimu until 1907. The layout of the buildings seems to fit with a 1906 photo of Oio (see http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/dbtw-wpd/exec/dbtwpub.dll?BU=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aucklandcity.govt.nz%2Fdbtw-wpd%2FHeritageImages%2Findex.htm&AC=QBE_QUERY&TN=heritageimages&QF0=ID&NP=2&MR=5&RF=HIORecordSearch&QI0=%3D%22AWNS-19060301-14-1%22), which was taken from the other end of the station.
