Object Detail

Description
On Lake Road, these buildings hit by the 'Frankton Tornado' in the early hours of the 25th August had stood there over thirty five years. Aerial photographs from 1955 show that following the tornado the long shed was demolished but that the small garage behind it was still standing. The water tower appears unharmed. Note the sheet of roofing iron mangled and hanging on the power pole.
