Description
The Lodge' was the home of William Australia Graham who did the original survey of Hamilton East. The home was situated off Victoria Street on the Kirikiriroa Pa site. The driveway was alongside the site of the present Public Trust Office. The Lodge was originally used as a girls' school then became the home of W A Graham and family. In 1925 it was advertised as a private hotel. In this image various members of the Graham family stand in front of their home on the river front.
