Description
An aerial view of central Hamilton looking south with the Frankton water tower near the centre of the photograph. Lake Road becomes Ruakiwi Street where it intersects with Tainui Street. Hill Street runs off to the left where Ruakiwi Street veers right. The land between Tainui Street and Hill Street is Hamilton Girls High School grounds. The house to the left of the tower was the residence of Hamilton Mayor and co-founder of Ellis and Burnand Ltd., Mr J.W. Ellis.
