b.1837- d.1909. President of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association 1892-1898. Hamilton Borough Councillor 1878-1879. Bank of New Zealand manger for various branches between 1861 to 1898. Chairman of the Hamilton West School Committee. Member of the St Peters Anglican Church Vestry.
